I had been looking forward to Ren and Staci's wedding ever since these two rocked their engagement session back in April. I arrived at the salon first to grab a few photos of the girls getting ready, then we all headed to the groom's parent's property where the wedding was taking place. The anticipation was building for the bride and groom while we sought a private, first look location for them. We settled on a grassy trail in the woods, and Ren turned around promising not to peek. When Staci approached and tapped his shoulder, the reaction on his face was one for the books. Their excitement was ridiculously sweet!
After portraits were complete, the couple had their perfect outdoor ceremony with friends and families looking on. Most outdoor ceremonies I've photographed are gorgeous and laid-back, but this one in particular had an especially unique touch. To showcase their unity, some couples light a candle, some mix sand, but Ren and Staci decided to mix their favorite beers! Their guests applauded, loving the personalized idea! These entertaining moments carried on into the reception through the wedding party introductions, toasts, the dollar dance and a surprise appearance by "well-dressed" guest, who's photos I won't dare post on this blog! Those who attended know the reason. Ren and Staci's wedding was lovely and fun, a perfect celebration for this beautiful couple. It was truly a pleasure capturing their wedding day.
