It's hard to believe that my own little guy has turned three years old already! He was a perfect little model from the moment he was born, and the camera became a normal part of growing up with Mommy. After about six months old, he became quite the ham and would kick, squeal and smile any time I brought the camera out. That all changed, however, once he learned to walk and learned that it's more fun to escape when Mom wants to take a photo. This three year session was no exception to this change. I'm pretty sure in his own way he's boycotting his model status, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that I had actually caught this many smiles from him. There were plenty of ornery looks and meltdowns mixed in, might I add the meltdowns were over things such as rolled sleeves and the fact that I moved the stool one foot to the right. In the end though, that's what makes for an accurate documentation of my three year old, so I will cherish each and every shot.
